Food pantries support residents of the city of Norfolk Virginia, no matter their income or hardship. However there will be an application process in place, but in general the non-profits will do their best to never turn away a family or individual that is facing hunger. The pantries can often provide a box of groceries that can last a few days. However if someone needs a free hot meal, whether it is breakfast, lunch, or a Christmas meal, then there are also soup kitchens across the City of Norfolk as well. Other assistance programs for residents to explore range from Meals on Wheels which are run from senior centers as well as SNAP food stamp applications from social services. So whether it is government food assistance, or a box of food or article of clothing from a pantry, assistance is available.

I understand life has a way of "happening all at once," thereby causing people to lose sight of their authentic self-worth and power over time. This is why we'll focus on transforming life from the inside-out with renewed purpose. Clients who work with me learn how to ACCEPT the reality of their current circumstances, ACKNOWLEDGE their direct role in creating personal outcomes, and ACHIEVE real progress-- measured by their own inner fulfillment. Where traditional therapy is largely about diagnosing what's "wrong" as the answer to help you feel better, working with a coach empowers you to build upon all that's working "right" so that you're also positioned to do better. Priority is placed on clarifying where you want to grow, and taking strategic action towards that vision. Beginning wherever you are, you'll use me as a personal guide and accountability partner. I help you align the useful knowledge, skills, resources, and habits you'll need to close the gap between your current situation and the future you know is possible. Your future self is counting on you!

If When How
State

Reproductive Health
Description (click to expand)
If/When/How transforms the law and policy landscape through advocacy, support, and organizing so all people have the power to determine if, when, and how to define, create, and sustain families with dignity and to actualize sexual and reproductive wellbeing on their own terms. It takes thoughtful action and strategic activism: acknowledging the intersection of identities, collaborating across disciplines, and working toward a critical transformation of the current legal system. Because ensuring that all people can decide if, when, and how to create and sustain families depends entirely on if, when, and how hard we fight.
